GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Our Group Fitness classes are designed to motivate and condition our community.

Energy sessions will raise your heart rate to your target heart rate zone to increase your endurance to have more energy in your day-to-day activities. Over time, you will increase your stamina (heart and lung fitness), reduce fatigue and help with weight management. Circuit or HIIT trainings will incorporate the use of kettlebells, TRX, ropes, ski erg, skier, rower, assault bikes, heavy bag, landmine as well as many other modalities.

ENERGY

Speed Strength incorporates lighter weight based on speed with good form. You will develop better coordination and a greater sense of mind body control. Using a variety of modalities (dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells) stimulates different muscle groups at different times to enhance aerobic endurance and keeps the training fresh.

SPEED

Strength training sessions, also known as resistance training, is divided into two sections: Upper body on Monday, Lower body on Friday. Each section consists of a main lift for the month and subsequent lifts to complement the main lift. You will build strength and skeletal muscles which will burn body fat.

STRENGTH

We include many different modalities in our strength as well as circuit/hiit training to enhance your training practice.

  • Dumbbells

  • Barbells; Olympic, safety, buffalo, Kyoto, hex, e-z bars and many others

  • Kettlebells; hard style and sport

  • Suspension Training: TRX, Cables

  • Resistance bands, ropes, med balls, mace

Each class session will also incorporate balance, abdominal exercises as well as pre- and post-stretching.
